3D Printing - FDM/mSLA

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Masked Stereolithography (mSLA) methods - ideal for precise, durable and aesthetically pleasing prints. Perfect for projects requiring both detail and durability.

Tech FDM

FDM technology

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology involves the precise layering of thermoplastic material extruded through a heated nozzle to form the desired geometry. This method is known for its excellent cost-to-quality ratio, making it ideal for producing prototypes and small batches that do not require exceptionally high surface quality. The popularity of FDM in the 3D printing world stems from its versatility and accessibility, making it the preferred method for a wide range of applications.

Masked Stereolithography (mSLA) technology is based on curing photopolymer resin with UV light. This process occurs layer by layer, allowing for the rapid creation of multiple elements of the same height. One of the key advantages of this technology is the exceptionally high quality of details achieved in 3D prints. mSLA allows for extremely precise and smooth surfaces, making it an ideal choice for projects requiring the highest quality and aesthetics. Combined with production efficiency, mSLA is an excellent solution for creating both prototypes and finished products.

Materials

Choosing the right material is essential for achieving the desired properties and functionality. Our team is ready to assist with material selection based on your application. If you know the suitable material, please mention it in your message. If unsure, here are some recommended materials for our 3D printing technologies that address most needs:

  • PETG for FDM:  Good mechanical and thermal strength, cost-effective, widely used in automotive and other industries for both internal and some external parts.

  • ABS/ASA for FDM: Better strength than PLA, ideal for durable and robust components.

  • ABS-like Photopolymer Resin for mSLA: Commonly used material providing high-quality prints with good strength, though brittle after curing.

Finishing

For FDM/mSLA prints, we offer a range of finishing options tailored to your needs, similar to our other technologies. We provide:

  • Low layer visibility material selection

  • Matte painting in the RAL palette

  • Glossy painting in the RAL palette

  • Application of anti-slip surfaces

  • Smoothing for painting

  • Preliminary color coating

  • Insertion of threaded inserts

If you have ready models and wish to discuss available finishing options, please contact us for a detailed proposal.
