FDM / mSLA technology
FDM technology
A method involving the application of plastic pressed through a heated nozzle, creating the geometry of the element. The quality and affordability of this method work well in the production of prototypes and low production runs that do not require high-quality surfaces. This is the most popular 3D printing method.
mSLA technology
A method of curing a photopolymer resin using UV light. The hardening process takes place in layers. This allows for short lead times for the production of many elements of the same height. A definite advantage of this 3D printing technology is the high quality of the created elements.
Materials in 3D printing
The choice of material for printed elements is very important. Depending on the application, we help to choose it. If you know what material the elements are to be made of - add a mention of it in the message to us. In case you are not sure, we suggest the following materials for the offered 3D printing technologies that solve most of the problems:
-
PETG in 3D FDM printing technology means, in short, good mechanical and temperature strength and a satisfactory price. Industry-proven material. Automotive use in the production of interior and exterior equipment in special cases.
-
ABS/ASA in FDM 3D printing technology has better strength parameters than PLA, but it is more expensive.
-
ABS-like photo-curing resin in mSLA 3D printing technology is the material we use most often. High quality of prints with good strength parameters. Photocurable resins are brittle once cured.
Finishing and additional services
For printouts in FDM/mSLA technology, you can choose the finish and services similar to those for printouts from other technologies we offer. It is possible:
-
choice of material with low layer visibility
-
painting in the RAL palette, matt
-
painting in the RAL palette, gloss
-
applying non-slip surfaces
-
smoothing for varnishing
-
initial color coverage
-
mounting threaded inserts
